Baby resting during tummy time after chiropractic adjustment at Dr. Ashley Family Chiropractic

Infant Chiropractic Care

Congrats, mama! Your baby is finally here—and while it’s absolutely magical, it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and filled with challenges you didn’t expect.

The truth is, birth takes a toll on both mom and baby, and sometimes your little one needs just as much support as you do in those early days.

Whether you found us during a 2 a.m. feeding scroll, you’re brand new to chiropractic care, or you’ve already been under our care during pregnancy—welcome. We’re here to help guide you through these early weeks and months with confidence and support.

“Why would a baby need a chiropractor?”

That’s a question we hear a lot. The simple answer? We’re not just here for back pain—we’re trained to support the nervous system, which controls everything from digestion and sleep to immune health and motor development.

Babies can get stuck in “fight or flight” mode from the stress of birth (even if it was a smooth delivery).

That can show up as:

  • Fussiness or inconsolable crying

  • Difficulty sleeping

  • Reflux, colic, gas, or constipation

  • Trouble latching or nursing

  • Preferring to turn their head one way

  • Flat spots on the head

  • Ear infections

  • General discomfort or just not seeming “at ease”

You’ve likely been told everything is “normal” or that they’ll grow out of it—but your gut says otherwise. We hear that all the time. If your baby is eating, sleeping, and gaining weight—but something still feels off—it may be a sign their nervous system needs support. We like to say: the lights are on, but they’re flickering. Our job is to help calm the system and take the flicker out.
